Join us SATURDAY, JUNE 25 for a morning of hiking + yoga
Hike: “Intermediate” 3.3 miles, round-trip with steady elevation gain (775ft)
Yoga: 60 minute all-levels slow flow yoga class
Date/Time: Saturday, June 25th 8am – 12pm
We’ll gather at Heybrook Ridge Trailhead in Index, WA at 8am. At 8:15am we’ll hike the 1.7 miles to the ridge/viewpoint. This hike has moderate elevation gain on a well maintained trail. On a clear day, we’ll be rewarded with a remarkable views of Mt. Index, Bridal Veil Falls, and the Skykomish valley. Heybrook Ridge trailhead is an approximate 1-hour drive from Everett, Seattle, or Bellevue.
More info on the trail here: https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/heybrook-lookout
When we arrive at the top, we’ll soak up the views and then hike just a little further up the ridge to a larger clearing for yoga. The yoga practice will be a 60 minute slow-flow vinyasa yoga class, focusing on strengthening, stretching, breathing, and connecting to nature. The yoga practice is all-levels – designed for beginner and experienced yogis alike! After yoga, we’ll hike back down together.
Note: There are some power lines near the top of the hike where we’ll be practicing yoga. If you’re sensitive to electrical noise/vibrations, this may not be the best meet-up for you.

I am a Certified Yoga Teacher (RYT® 200+), passionate about combining community, yoga, and the outdoors. As an avid hiker, I look forward to hosting several yoga hike meet-ups this summer. When not in the mountains, you can find me teaching at local yoga studios in the greater Everett area and wrangling my two school-aged boys. More about me.
