Picnic Point Sunset Beach Yoga, August 5

Join us Friday august 5 for sunset beach yoga!

Hike: A short < 0.5 mile walk to the beach

Yoga: 60 minute all-levels flow yoga class

Date/Time: Friday Aug 5th, 7pm-9pm

“HIKE”

We’ll meet at the Picnic Point Parking Area at 7pm and walk a very short distance (less than 0.5 mile) to the beach. We’ll be walking over a train overpass and a short ways on the beach to our yoga spot. Picnic Point is located in Edmonds, WA.

SUNSET YOGA

The yoga practice will be a 60-minute flow/vinyasa yoga class on the beach, focusing on stretching, breathing, and connecting to nature. The yoga practice is all-levels – designed for beginner and experienced yogis alike! We’ll set up our mats on either hard/flat sand, or grass. We’ll time the class to end as the sun is setting and can enjoy the sunset together before heading back to our cars. Sunset on Aug 5th is at 8:38pm.

MEET UP DETAILS

Space is limited to 20 participants. Free to attend. If you’d like to donate to support the meet-up organization and yoga instruction, Venmo @pnwyoga. ($35 suggested.) Meet-up is geared for adults; mature teens or children are welcome to attend with their grown-up (please register them as well). 

We’ll meet up rain or shine. In severe/unsafe/stormy weather, I may reschedule or cancel the meet-up. 

What to Bring: Your own yoga mat, a towel (for under or over your mat, especially if it’s a little wet out), walking shoes or sandals, clothes comfortable for yoga (layers highly recommended), water, and lunch or snacks. More tips on what to bring will be emailed out to registered participants prior to the hike.

ABOUT CHRISTINA 

I am a Certified Yoga Teacher (RYT® 200+), passionate about combining community, yoga, and the outdoors. As an avid hiker, I look forward to hosting several yoga hike meet-ups this summer. When not in the mountains, you can find me teaching at local yoga studios in the greater Everett area and wrangling my two school-aged boys. More about me.

Please pre-register to reserve your spot. All meet-up attendees are required to sign a waiver to participate. The hike meet-up and yoga class are at your own risk. The hike is not a guided hike, we will simply meet up and hike together to the yoga location. Donations are 100% optional and n0n-refundable. Waivers are part of the online registration form.
