Yoga: 60 minute all-levels Vinyasa yoga class on the beach (or grassy field)

Date/Time: Wednesday July 24, 7pm – 9:30pm (note: meet up was rescheduled from July 17 to July 24)

Who: All are welcome! Geared toward adults, kids ages 8 years+ are welcome to register

HIKE

We’ll gather at the Meadowdale Beach trailhead, also known as Lund’s Gulch, in Edmonds/Lynnwood, at 7pm. At 7:15pm we’ll hike the 1+ mile down to the beach through a beautiful forested trail. The hike is short, with some switchbacks and stairs, but overall a great beginner/gentler hike.

YOGA

When we arrive at the beach, we’ll set up our mats on the beach, in the grassy field, or under the picnic shelter (weather and tide dependent). The yoga practice will be a 60 minute slow-flow Vinyasa class, focusing on strengthening, stretching, breathing, and connecting to nature. The yoga practice is all-levels – designed for beginner and experienced yogis alike! After yoga, we’ll enjoy the sunset together on the beach before hiking back up to the parking lot. Sunset is just after 9pm on July 24.

MEET UP DETAILS

Space is limited to 20 participants. The meet up fee goes toward the yoga instruction, with 5% of proceeds donated to Washington Trail Association. I’ll also hook you up with sparkling water/iced tea/snacks/smiles before and after the yoga hike. We’ll meet up rain or shine. In severe/unsafe weather, I will reschedule the meet up and/or offer a yoga credit to all registered guests to attend a future yoga hike.

What to Bring: Your own yoga mat, a towel (for under or over your mat, especially if it’s a little wet out), hiking shoes, clothes comfortable for hiking and yoga (layers highly recommended), water, a flashlight or headlamp for the hike back up, and additional snacks. More tips on what to bring will be emailed out to registered participants prior to the event.

I have two scholarships available, please email me at pnwoutdooryoga@gmail.com and tell me a little bit about yourself to request a scholarship.
