HIKE
We’ll gather at Heybrook Lookout Trailhead at 10:30am for coffee, tea, and snacks. At 10:45am we’ll hike the 1.3 miles to the lookout tower. This hike has steady elevation gain, a short but steep hike with a gorgeous view at the top!
As needed, we can break into smaller groups to respect the trail and support different paces. More info on the trail here: https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/heybrook-lookout
When we arrive at the top, we will set up our mats on the opening at the base of the lookout tower. The yoga practice will be a 60 minute slow-flow Vinyasa yoga practice, focusing on strengthening, stretching, breathing, and connecting to nature. The yoga practice is all-levels – designed for beginner and experienced yogis alike! After yoga, we can climb the tower to take pictures of the view and/or eat lunch, then we’ll hike back down together.
MEET UP DETAILS
Space is limited to 20 participants. The meet up fee goes toward the yoga instruction, with 5% of proceeds donated to Washington Trail Association. I’ll also hook you up with coffee/tea/snacks/smiles before and after the yoga hike. We’ll meet up rain or shine. In severe/unsafe weather, or if the minimum of 5 participants is not met, I will reschedule the meet up and/or offer a yoga credit to all registered guests to attend a future yoga hike.
Parking is free but limited, please try to carpool.
What to Bring: Your own yoga mat, a towel (for under or over your mat, especially if it’s a little wet out), hiking shoes, clothes comfortable for hiking and yoga (layers highly recommended), water, and lunch or additional snacks. More tips on what to bring will be emailed out to registered participants prior to the event.
I have two scholarships available, please email me at pnwoutdooryoga@gmail.com and tell me a little bit about yourself to request a scholarship.
ABOUT CHRISTINA

FINE PRINT
Registrations and yoga meet up fees are non-refundable and are not transferable from one date to another, however they are exchangeable from one person to another. In the event the meet up is cancelled or postponed due to severe weather, or if the minimum of 5 participants is not reached by June 10, I will provide a credit for a future outdoor yoga meet up. All meet up attendees are required to sign a waiver to participate. The hike meet up and yoga class are at your own risk. The hike is not a guided hike, we will simply meet up and hike together to the yoga location. Waivers will be emailed to registered participants, or available day-of to sign.
